Sweet Times Ahead

There are times in our lives when things are running smoothly.  When we are happy and content and do not wish for change.  We just want to enjoy where we are at.

Moments when things just seem to fall into place, when you find exactly what you are looking for, when you share a special moment with your partner, when you receive the job you’ve been wanting and so on. 

If this is not happening to you now, take a moment to remember a time when something like this did occur.  Can you remember the feeling of joy? 

Take the time to focus on the feeling in your heart.  Breathe deeply and allow the feeling to grow to encompass your entire body and then expand out into the room you are in.

What colour(s) do you associate with this feeling?  Write down the colour(s), describe as best you can the feeling and what happened for you to feel this way.

Next time you feel like you need a boost, take out what you wrote.  Breathe deeply into your heart several times.  Put on the colour(s) you wrote down or have something in that colour that you can see and focus on.  Breathe deeply as you connect to the colour.  Now, imagine what happened in your note as if it was happening now.  Remember the feeling you described in your note and connect once again to that feeling.  Repeat the exercise above as you expand the feeling from your heart to the room.
